👁 LIAM K. SWIGGS
Belfast’s favourite son is back once again after being banned from most Christchurch Nightspots for a combination of playing Tumeke Footmahi, Smuggling Lion Browns into the club & doing lines with your sister in the mens - Expect something a bit spooky this time around with a hybrid old-school set mixed in with Footmahi goodness from Swiggs with a nice variety of unreleased gems + classic 80's/90's bangers
👁 KEANU RAVES
The moniker of Otautahi legend Cameron Hoy, began producing house and techno after being inspired by a night out at the Berlin night club Tresor. Having played and produced mostly guitar based music for the past 10 years, he quickly became hooked on the different approach to composition and the fresh palette of sounds.
Inspired by 90s-current Techno, House, Electro and Trance, Hoy is honing his production and mixing skills in pursuit of his own signature sound. Following a well received first EP of deep house cuts, he recently released 32-bit GT: a 4-track techno journey inspired by the soundtracks of classic 90s racing games.
👁 MERCEDES CAMBRIDGE
Nick Harte will be performing a set of electronic music which centres around time and perception and how we interact with sound via technology. All of the sounds employed will be sourced from YouTube samples of intentionally varying quality. These monolithic loop-based pieces, featuring samples from disparate sources, aspire to be genre-less by way of their often awkward conglomeration. All cuts will be transmitted via an iPhone 4.
